Principal's Message
Welcome FHS Family to the 2023-2024 school year. The FHS Faculty and Staff are eager to return to work this fall in order to provide you with the most exciting experiences to further you along your educational journey. Our district has worked extremely hard to provide multiple opportunities for you to find something that will help you along the way. From engaging classrooms, to opportunities through multiple Career and Technical Education classes, and with a multitude of extracurricular options, FHS has a plethora of options for you to find your calling while with us.
Our end goal is to provide a learning experience that will ready you for a 21st century world that awaits you in whatever journey you wish to pursue post graduation.
Quinlan ISD is a fantastic district, and one that I have been able to call home for a large majority of my life. After graduating from FHS in 1998, I immediately enrolled at Texas A&M University - Commerce where I was able to earn my bachelors degree and then begin my career in education. Since graduating in 2002, I have been a classroom teacher, coach, Athletic Director, assistant principal, and now I have the honor of being the campus principal at the school where I graduated. Along this journey I have been fortunate enough to earn my Masters in Education Degree through Lamar University, and I am currently working on my Doctorate through Texas Tech University. My wife Stacey is a Biology teacher and coach here at FHS, and together we have four children: Keely (Attending Ranger College to cheer) Payton 15, Colbie 15, and Mason 14. This will be my 8th year back at FHS, and I am so honored to work with you during your time here.
