Welcome!

About Me:
I am a wife (to the love of my life), and a mother to 2 great boys, and I have one awesome dog named Odin and a kitten named Penny.  I am a self proclaimed math nerd, lover of corny jokes, and annoyingly positive.

I have worked in education since 2010 and have held a variety of roles in that time, from 2nd grade math teacher all the way to an instructor at the college level. I joined the QISD family in the fall of 2020 as an Algebra 1 and Dual Credit teacher, and at the start of the 2022 school year I transitioned over to be the Secondary Instructional Coach.

My main goal as an instructional coach is to support teachers on the front lines of education. Serve as a mentor and role model, helping teachers stay fresh and use the latest techniques and technologies in their classrooms.
It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilitites. Albus Dumbledore                                                            It's kind of fun to do the impossible. Walt Disney
