I am so proud to be back serving the community that raised me! As a 1988 graduate of Quinlan-Ford High School ("We've got spirit. We are great. We're the class of '88!"), my lifelong passion for learning led me to a dedicated, 30+ year career in public education.

Professional Experience
With over three decades in Texas schools, I've had the privilege of serving students both in the classroom and in administration:

Campus Leadership: Assistant Principal at Saltillo ISD (11 years) & Dean of Students at Rains ISD (1 year)

Classroom Teaching (18 Years): Avery Elementary (3rd grade - 10 yrs), Lake Dallas Primary (2nd grade - 2 yrs), Boles Elementary (2nd grade - 2 yrs), Farmersville Jr. High (6th grade - 2 yrs), DC Cannon Elementary (2nd grade - 1 yr), and Chapel Hill Elementary (5th grade - 1 yr)
My Family
I am happily married to Curt, and together we are the proud parents of five incredible children:

Dustin served four years in the Air Force and now works with Curt in our family business. He and his wife, Rynee, have a grown son, Jonathon.

Will is a Duke graduate with a Master’s in Political Science from Emory University. He lives in Atlanta, works for a college recruiting firm, and referees college basketball.

Brock graduated from Morningside University, taught and coached for 6 years, and earned his law degree from UNT Dallas. He practices law in Dallas alongside his wife, Lindsay (a teacher/coach at Leonard HS), and their baby daughter, Caroline.

Jacob earned his welding certification from Texarkana College and owns a local septic installation company. He and his wife, Alyssa (a paraprofessional at Cannon), have two awesome kids, Ayden and Reylynn.

Julianna attends Austin College in Sherman, where she plays Lady 'Roo basketball and studies Education with plans to coach.
