Welcome!

I am Avery Manross, and I teach English II, Honors English II, and Reading I at FHS. This is my 7th year with Quinlan ISD and my 11th year in education. I graduated from Rockwall-Heath High School and went to the Art Institute, where I obtained a B.S. in Culinary Management. After that, I taught Culinary Arts for 4 years and decided to make the switch to general education after I had my sweet daughter, Amelia. Since then, my husband Robert and I have welcomed another little girl, Nora, into our family. Teaching English has been an absolute joy, and I look forward to many more years!
