Hello, Welcome to My Class!

Hello to all,

My name is Taner Renfro, this will be my third year teaching/coaching at Ford High School and will be my sixth year teaching/coaching here at Quinlan ISD. I teach Government / Personal Financial Literacy and Economics, along with World Geography. I am a former Quinlan ISD graduate and I'm extremely excited to be working with the students from my home town! I attended college at Hardin-Simmons University for a bachelors in Environmental Science and participated on the track team at Hardin-Simmons. I threw discus, shot put, hammer and javelin while i was there. After, I came back to Texas A&M University-Commerce where I finished my degree in 2018 and participated as a Collegiate powerlifter. I have a beautiful daughter who is four years of age and enjoy spending as much time with her and my wife as possible!

I look forward to this next school year with new and some familiar faces!
