Welcome

I am excited to begin my 9th year at QISD and my 17th year of teaching. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington where I earned a BA in Accounting and became a CPA. I have been an accountant in a variety of fields and became a teacher to teach accounting. My first 8 years were teaching math and I was very fortunate to become a Panther and join a wonderful CTE program where I am able to teach Accounting 1 and 2 and Money Matters. Students in accounting are provided the opportunity to earn an Accounting Foundation and QuickBooks certification.  Money Matters students explore career paths, educational and certification opportunities and gain knowledge for the financial decisions they will be making throughout their life. I look forward to another great school year!
